The golf club at the Moscow Country Club hosted the first anniversary Golf.ru Opening Swing 2023 on the breathtaking golf course designed by architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., which has been available for playing golf in Nakhabino near Moscow for thirty years.
The Texas Scramble was played by twenty-five teams. The Moscow Country Club is famous for its international environment. The season opening tournament was no exception as 130 golf club members, including players from Vietnam, Zambia, India, Ireland, Kenya, Korea, Russia, and the USA, stepped onto the golf course.
The team consisting of Aleksey Titchev, Irina Khurumova, Yuri Bulychev, Aleksandra Kim and Pavel Batyshev won the tournament by 53 strokes. The award ceremony was emceed by Maria Bazhenova, Golf Club Director at the Moscow Country Club, and club’s leader Aleksey Sidorov.
